Your Four Faces

Passage: 1 Corinthians 4:1-5
Service Type:

Hello church family,

What a beautiful time of rediscovery between Easter and Pentecost for us to invite our risen savior to redefine our real life.  Being human means that our perception of ourselves is always somewhat limited.  So are the opinions that others hold of us which are sometimes flattering, and others times cruel.   Please join us for worship tomorrow as we turn to the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Corinthians and invest a little time discovering our four faces.  Services will conclude with an invitation to the Lord’s table.

1 Corinthians 4:1-5 New (NIV)

The Nature of True Apostleship

This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscienceis clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.

Your Pastor and brother,

Steve Schantz
